About

As fully qualified builders and licensed electricians, we have the expertise to handle a wide range of home modification projects and assistive technology installations. Our commitment to safety is evident in every project we undertake – we take all necessary precautions, and every project is fully insured for your peace of mind.

We are also proud to be NDIS registered builders, focusing on providing tailored solutions for Australians living with disabilities. Our mission is to make a positive impact on the liveability of your most important place – your home. Our journey began when our founders, a builder and an electrician, came together with a shared vision to enhance the lives of individuals through the spaces they live in.

At Z&D Safe Haven Homes, we understand the importance of trust and reliability when inviting professionals into your home. That’s why all our employees have passed police checks, working with children checks, and NDIS workers screening checks, ensuring a safe and secure experience for you and your loved ones.

Our Team.

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the Co-Director of Z & D Safe Haven Homes. As a qualified carpenter, I have always been passionate about building and creating. My career has seen me develop skills in a versatile range of construction settings. Through life’s natural progressions, the importance of having a purposeful career has increased. This has guided me in the direction of Safe Haven Homes.

I grew up knowing quite a lot of children living with disabilities and the strong families surrounding them. However, these families didn’t always have all the support and structures that they required back then. Inspired by these families and seeing the difference that purpose-built spaces can make in the lives of those who need it, I am motivated to use my knowledge and skills to help build safe and functional areas for those in need. I take pride in completing both small and large projects with a clear aim of functionality, while also prioritising aesthetics.

As an onsite manager and builder, I have a keen eye for quality and ensure that both big and small projects are built to last. Collaboration is at the heart of my work, and I pride myself on working seamlessly with others. I approach all interactions in a friendly and helpful manner and enjoy working closely with clients and occupational therapists to achieve exceptional results. Both Zak and I are committed to delivering the best possible outcome for every project we undertake and ensuring everyone’s satisfaction with a smile on our faces and on yours.
